Romania

  • The Ministry of Finance published the draft version of the budget for 2021: the allowances, the premiums are not eliminated, but they will be kept at the level that will not exceed their value from December 2020; the number of unemployed persons increases by only 5,000; holiday vouchers are no longer granted; the average net salary increases by only 2%. The Ministry of Health receives less money, and the Ministry of Education has an increase of only 2.8% (RO) – click here
  • The Ministry of Finance says that the public debt will not exceed 55% of GDP by 2024. At the end of November 2020 it was 44.4% (RO) – click here
